Instructor Profile - Scott Milner
Scott Milner has been performing, teaching and studying music for over forty years. He holds Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D degrees in
music and is a certified music teacher in Montana and Pennsylvania. He has taught guitar at the prestigious CAPA High School for the Performing Arts in Pittsburgh and performed widely with the folk-duo, Milner & Kobertz. He has sung as a soloist and with symphony choruses and select choirs on the stages of Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, and at the Symphony Halls of Boston and Pittsburgh.
Born and raised in Hamilton, Scott now makes his home with his wife, Miriam, in the Flint Creek Valley, at Hall, Montana. Scott has played in garage bands since middle school, and is currently performing as a solo artist.

My musical philosophy:
Developing musicality and skill with guitar and/or voice will provide a life-long source of enjoyment.
