Guitar Rental Agreement (Rent-to-Own)

Monthly Rental Price = $25.00, Deposit = $70.00, Full Purchase Price = $135.00

Monthly Rental Price = $25.00, Deposit = $70.00, Full Purchase Price = $135.00
I, agree to pay $25 per month for this rental guitar & case.
I understand that a $70.00/$125.00 (depends on guitar) rental deposit is required to rent this guitar. This may be a check or a cash deposit. In the event that I decide to buy the guitar in full, the rental deposit and all monthly rent may be applied to the total. If I decide not to buy the guitar, the deposit amount will be returned in full, if the guitar is kept in the condition it was rented in (review Conditions of Rental). The guitar can be bought in full at any time and all monthly payments and deposit may be applied to the purchase of the guitar.
Conditions of Rental
Current detailed description of guitar & case:
If during the course of the rental agreement:
- …the guitar or case is damaged beyond repair, the remaining amount towards the full purchase price will need to be paid in full by the renter by the first day of the upcoming month.
- …the guitar or case is defaced in anyway (ie: stickers, intentional scratches…) the guitar will not be able to be returned and the renter must pay the remaining amount towards the full purchase price. Payment must be made by the first day of the upcoming month.
- Minor dents and scratches will not be considered as a deduction from the deposit. Major dents, scratches or damage to the guitar or case that require repair will incur a deduction from the deposit. Amount for repair will be determined upon the return of the rental package. Best advice: Respect your instrument and take good care of it and you will receive a full deposit back.
