Tangled Tones Music Studio is devoted to providing an environment for all musicians to learn, teach, record and perform the music they want to play. A dedicated teaching staff provides high quality instruction in various genres and on various instruments. A "large common space" is available for use as a group lesson area, performance area and is open to the public to be used for any artistic function. Tangled Tone's goal is to provide a place for musicians and artists to network and create. Please check out the site and get involved.

Tangled Tones has recently received a generous grant which is being directed towards building West-African drums (hand-drums: djembes, ashikos and dun-duns) and teaching West-African rhythms and songs to the public schools of Missoula through the Flagship Program. The Flagship program is an afterschool learning program that is in place at the majority of Missoula's public schools. The drums will also travel to Youth Homes of Missoula and to Camp-Make-a-Dream to help facilitate rhythm circles and teach culture and tradition through the drum! Hope to drum with you some day in the future!
